Sejal Sachdev
Sejal Sachdev’s professional background is in finance and after a career as an ACA is now busy in the volunteering sector. She has recently established and chairs Rotate which is a satellite club for Amersham Rotary and volunteers for several other charities.
As an immigrant refugee in childhood, Sejal personally gained so much confidence from teachers who looked past her poor English and accent to what she was capable of, and so, she believes passionately that primary education is fundamental to inspiring young children to start a life of enquiry and learning.
Sejal is married and has lived in Amersham for 26 years and both her children were educated locally. Sejal has an interest in the Arts and loves walking.
