Alison Swinscoe

Alison is a qualified accountant with over 22 years’ experience in finance, including seven years working within the education sector in a large multi‑academy trust. Prior to moving into education, Alison held senior finance roles across a range of sectors including renewable & heating technologies, IT services and healthcare bringing a broad commercial perspective to Trust finance.

Alison takes a collaborative, relationship‑led approach, working closely with colleagues and partners to deliver shared organisational goals.

Alison is passionate about education and the transformational impact that a great education can have on children’s lives and on society as a whole. Her focus is on ensuring high‑quality, financially resilient schools are in place today, while making the long‑term decisions needed to protect and strengthen provision for future generations. This includes maximising the impact of every pound of public funding, embedding efficient and sustainable operating models, and ensuring that children, their communities, and educational outcomes remain central to all decision‑making.
