Climate Action Plan

We’re proud to lead on sustainability. In 2025, Great Learners Trust became the first multi‑academy trust to achieve Energy Conscious Organisation (EnCO) status, recognising our commitment to reducing energy use and carbon emissions. Through practical, people‑focused initiatives, we’ve already cut gas consumption by 26% and carbon emissions by 21% across our schools.

Our Climate Action Plan sets out how we’ll build on this success - improving efficiency, investing in sustainable infrastructure, and inspiring pupils to become climate-conscious citizens. Together, we’re working towards a carbon‑neutral future.
